The Underwater Studio is looking to open for Dive Clubs on Monday 17th May 2021 under strict regulations as laid out by HM Government and Public Health England.
As with all current legislation and guidance, please be aware that this may be subject to change at short notice.
The new framework that we will be implementing for everybody's safety is as follows:
All Dive Clubs will be required to provide The Underwater Studio with a copy of their COVID Risk Assessment and Method Statement
All attendees will be required to scan the NHS Track & Trace QR code when they arrive, using the NHS COVID-19 app and re-scan on their departure
Any attendee unable to use this system will need to provide contact information for the purposes of contact tracing only. It will not be used, held or shared for any other purpose and will be destroyed as per Government guidelines after thirty days
Dive Clubs will need to be split into groups of no more than six people including instructors
Each member of the group of six will be required to socially distance
No more than three groups of six will be allowed inside the facility at the same time
Due to the time that it will take to decontaminate between each group of six, there will be no indoor changing facilities
Please be aware that failure to adhere to these safety measures will result in access being denied to our location
We thank you in advance for your understanding
The Underwater Studio would like to thank BSAC (The British Sub-Aqua Club) for their help in putting this framework together.
